3. Device settings
Camera
- Remove the camera’s UI overlay from any HDMI output
- Change to Manual focus
- Adjust the exposure and colour temperature to taste
- Enable slight face blur settings
- Reduce the output resolution
Teleprompter Monitor
- Flip the monitor horizontally and/or vertically to work with the teleprompter
- Enable for monitor to turn on as soon as it receives power
Alexa
- The Alexa responds to the phrase “Alexa, start camera” by turning on: the DSLR Camera, the Teleprompter Monitor, the Front Light, the Back Light, and the Floor Lamp
- The Alexa responds to the phrase “Alexa, stop camera” by turning off: the DSLR Camera, the Teleprompter Monitor, the Front Light, the Back Light, and the Floor Lamp
4. Quirks and gotchas
- The DSLR Camera and CamLink image will freeze and damage your call quality unless you plug it directly into the laptop USB port
